Welcome to Kindergarten!

My name is Mrs. Peters and I am thrilled to be in my 2^nd year at Richardson teaching kindergarten. I have been in teaching for the past 15 years in various teaching roles and in various places. I have taught in Minnesota and Florida, mostly in the primary grades (K, 1^st, and 2^nd). I also spent 5 years as a literacy coordinator and facilitator for the Minnesota Reading First project, first in Bemidji, MN and then in North St. Paul and St. Paul. I now live in Wisconsin and when I am not at school, I love spending time with my husband and three young daughters. Teaching kindergarten has been such a rewarding experience. I am amazed by the children’s growth over the course of the year. I feel privileged to be at Richardson and to be working with such great students, parents, and staff!
